Commitment to God and His Word
We believe that
people are transformed when they understand
and apply Biblical truths (II Timothy
3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12, Romans 10:17, Psalm
1:1-3). The Bible is the living, active Word
of God which the Holy Spirit can use to
transform a life. Therefore, we will seek to
help every person understand and apply God's
word. The Word of God will serve to be the
standard for all that we do.
Life Groups
We believe that
Ministry happens best in the context of a
small group of people (Hebrews 10:24-25, Acts
2:44-46). We encourage every individual in
our fellowship to find a Living Water Life
Group.
Equipping and Empowering
We believe that
every Christian is called to be a disciple of
Jesus Christ as described in (Matthew 4:19)
As such, the leadership seeks to empower each
member in their God-given purpose, ministry
and gifting. (Eph 4:11)
Embracing the Holy Spirit
We believe that relevant ministry flows
from the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
Our desire as believers is to use operate
in spiritual gifts to encourage and
manifest the reality of God in our
communities (I Cor 12, Rom 12:3-8, Eph
4:11-12). To this end, we believe that
every Christian should discover and use
his/her spiritual gifts in service to one
another and the world in which they
live.
Culturally Relatable Ministry
We have
committed ourselves to be a people who live
in, and for, the glory of God. Our passion is
to see the “generations” come together in
ministry and worship in Spirit and Truth.
(Mal 4:6) He will turn the hearts of the
fathers to their children, and the hearts of
the children to their fathers; or else I will
come and strike the land with a
curse."
Ministry Teams
We believe that
God has called each one of us to minister the
Love of Jesus to our culture. We seek to
answer the desire of our Savior when he
prayed "The harvest is plentiful but the
workers are few.” (Mat 9:37) In this, we
believe that he has empowered each person and
placed them on the earth for “such a time and
place as this”. (Esther 4:14) Therefore, we
see it as the believers responsibility to be
God’s ambassadors to the world that the Lord
so loves (John 3:16)
Missions: Here, There and Everywhere
All Christians
are called to share the gospel and make
disciples in the way God created and gifted
them to do so. Therefore each member has a
responsibility to fulfill the great
commission in their neighborhood, community,
nation and world. We are called to reach the
Lost with the love of Jesus and do our part
to reach the World for Christ and fulfill the
great commission (2 Cor 5:19)
Creative Worship in Spirit & Truth
We believe that
God inhabits the praises of His people in and
through the corporate celebration. Worship is
essential to changing the Spiritual climate
of our communities. We believe that every
individual is created to worship and adore
God. In this, worship may take many creative
biblical expressions of adoration and love to
the Father. God is restoring the creative
arts back to His church. Our passion is to
provide a context of creativity for these
worship forms to be restored while remaining
biblically and doctrinally accurate. We
believe that art communicates the heart of
God to the culture. Therefore we encourage
the use of the arts, progressive music,
video, multimedia, drama, poetry, dance and
any other medium to communicate love to God
and His love for us.
